Ingredients
- 2 thick gammon steaks
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons Hawkshead Relish Fig & Orange Jam
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 3 teaspoons Hawkshead Relish Worcester Sauce
- ! TO SERVE ! Steamed and crushed new potatoes Green beans
Method
- Season the meat with salt and pepper then preheat a griddle pan until smoking.
- Combine the Fig & Orange Jam, honey, mustard powder and Worcester Sauce together to make the glaze. Sear the gammon steaks for 4 minutes on each side and then pour over the glaze, coating the steaks. Cook for a further 2 minutes, allowing the glaze to caramelise, then remove from the pan.
- Serve with crushed new potatoes and green beans.
