Virtually Hawkshead Relish
The Hawkshead Relish Company has taken a stall at UK’s first Virtual Farmers Market, VFMUK.
Hawkshead Relish will exhibit a selection of their award winning preserves on a branded stall accompanied with a video of Mark and Maria Whitehead presenting the virtues of the products, speaking passionately about the ethos and care that accompanies their handmade Cumbrian range.
This exciting NEW concept has been masterminded by Marcus Carter a welsh artisan maker of fine pate who has brought together speciality producers from across the UK with the aim of allowing consumers access to those that produce some of the countries finest culinary creations. ‘Browsing the market, is just like visiting a real Farmers Market’, says Carter ‘allowing the customer to carefully choose the products they want to purchase and with the convenience of it all being delivered together to the door’!
Hawkshead Relish have embraced this New Concept of shopping on-line and bringing the countryside into homes ‘We were excited to be offered a stall and have the opportunity to reach out to further consumers who are more likely to use the internet for their shopping and in a way that presents a better understanding of the produce and the people behind it’ comments Maria Whitehead.
The Virtual Farmers Market opened its gates on the 2nd January and promises to lead the way in bringing regional produce to on line shoppers everywhere.
