The Square - Hawkshead - Cumbria - LA22 0NZ Why not make a weekend of it by staying in one of the many lovely B & B's and Hotels in Hawkshead. This is usally a fairly quiet time in the area and often the weather is cold and settled (don't quote me on that!) But if we are lucky and get some cold crisp winter days there is no where in the UK more beautiful to do your Christmas Shopping.
