Hawkshead Relish meet the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh

Mark and Maria were delighted to meet Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh as they opened the new food technology centre at Redhills in Penrith, Hawkshead Relish were one of four invited local producers to attend and showcase their products.

The Queen showed great interest in the pan of Westmorland Chutney which was cooking away and wanted to know about the ingredients and the spices used, Maria also presented Prince Philip with a basket of Hawkshead Relish goodies in advance of his birthday on the 10th June which he showed great interest in and wanted to know all about the jars especially the Hawkshead Relish - a vegetarian worcestershire sauce.
